Notes: This fic was started & nearly finished way back in the day (2011). I have no idea why it was abandoned, but I found it again, and just in time for a very amazing lady's birthday.

*flail* I was looking at and lusting over that con awhile ago SO COOL HAVE THE MOST BEAT FUN I've never been to a con except for Trek Fest ten million years ago which isn't really one at all. I can't wait to hear about it.

aww but trek fest sounds amazzzzing! And I'm not really a comic book person, so other people probably get a lot more out of emerald city than me. but then again KARRRRRL is more than enough for me. XB

Trek Fest WAS amazing, I keep meaning to go back...though it sounds like it hasn't been quite such a to-do since that year, it was barely a month since the reboot and everyone was Trek-mad :) But still, it was rad. And...re: my hair...lol thanks :) part of it was just that I was working on a farm at the time and it was damn hot and I have always been too lazy to take care of my hair, but at least in part it was that I was engaged to a guy at the time and was (totally unconsciously, totally) clinging to what vestiges of my queer identity I still could :P
