This year I wrote and posted:

04.04.15 At Least They're Not Star Wars PJs (Leverage, Hardison/Eliot 1shot)
04.27.15 Bad Case of Loving You (Leverage, Hardison/Eliot 1shot)
08.30.15 Life in the Key of C-Sharp (Merlin, Merlin/Arthur, reversebb)
12.12.15 Worth It (Star Trek AOS, Kirk/McCoy rom com)

Overall Thoughts:
That makes me sad. It's so twee. Where are my words? I need to tend to them.

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
Less. I'll be honest. I always write more than I expect and this year, I most certainly did the opposite.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January?
Guys, I kinda feared I'd never write Kirk/McCoy again, no lie.

What's your own favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?
Life in the Key of C-Sharp. It's so easy to write what you know. And so fun to play with how Arthur's nobility would translate in a modern setting. Plus, I got to spend hours and hours listening to Britten, you know, as ~research. XB

Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?
Writing Kirk/McCoy again. There's a lot of baggage there, so I had to do a lot of deep breathing and self-cheerleading.

My best story of this year:
Life in the Key of C-Sharp. Honestly it's just well-constructed and the banter is lovely, and you really feel for all the characters. COME HERE LET ME TUG YOUR HEART STRINGS mwah ha ha.

My most popular story of this year:
Life in the Key of C-Sharp. Merlin fandom is huge, ok. XB

Most fun story to write:
Either of the Eliot/Hardison ones. I wasn't worried about it, and it's all banter, and I just -- I feel like I know those characters so well.

Story with the single sexiest moment:
Um actually, the picture that sticks out for me as 'sexy' is Eliot standing close behind Hardison as he makes pancakes. Is that ridiculous?!

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
None this year. It was all down the line.

Hardest story to write:
Worth It. I basically only succeeded because I wrote it on my phone while walking to and from work, so in my head there was no pressure and it was just a silly rough draft. And then... and then before I knew it, I had a story.

Biggest Disappointment:
[2 years ago's answer is still entirely too accurate, gdi:] My own continuing fragility. My lack of ability to go without sleep so I can actually do all the things I want to do.

Biggest Surprise:
The smallness of this list, honestly.

Most Unintentionally Telling Story:
I'm really bad at keeping secrets, so it's never unintentional.

Favorite OC:
Chris Pine. So does not matter that I didn't write any Urbine this year.

Favorite Opening Line:
(from Life in the Key of C-Sharp)
Arthur might--perhaps--if you catch him off-guard and--maybe--in a good mood, admit that the first time he saw Merlin, he was slightly out of his mind on cold medicine.

Favorite Closing Line:
(from Bad Case of Loving You)
"Shut up," Eliot growls, his hand sliding around to pull Hardison down to him. "You got chicken soup. Now you get to shut up."

Favorite 5 Lines from Anywhere:

(from Life in the Key of C-Sharp)
Arthur rocks back on his heels. "Yes, well, I wandered around all the streets of London-town until I heard your sweet, sweet music."

(from Bad Case of Loving You)
"It's just chicken soup."
"And I'm just a black dude in a scarf."

(from Worth It)
'This game is terrible,' McCoy grumbles after losing at Duck Hunt yet again. 'Why won't it just let me shoot the damn dog?'

(from At Least They're Not Star Wars PJs)
"Hashtag ~awkward," Hardison finally mutters.

(from Worth It)
And then suddenly, like the iceberg hitting the Titanic, Jim's kissing him.

Top 5 Scenes from Anywhere You Would Choose to Have Illustrated:
* Hardison making pancakes while Eliot tries not to act impressed
* McCoy playing Duck Hunt because COME ON
* Merlin looking at Arthur in the dressing room mirror after the show
* Hardison in his blanket fort
* Kirk being rescued by McCoy

Story I haven't yet written, but intend to:
[Oo I'm keeping this answer.] The good ones are always the ones I don't expect.

When you got a great line like that, it's only natural. ;)
