While nothing can compare to the high of Star Trek '09; Beyond was two hours of sweet sadness; sweet because I got to spend two hours with my favorite group of seven overachieving stargazers, but sad because there's no recapturing that initial rush of overwhelming love the first one inspired; it's still the most fun I've had in the theatre in a good while.
