22: Have you ever participated in a fest or a Big Bang? If so, write about your favorite experience in relation to one. If not, are there any you've thought about doing? And if not, why not?

Yes! I have done many kinds of fests. Short-word-count fests are fun and easy and fruitful: P-Thon not only got me some of my greatest Merlin friends, but some of my greatest Merlin works.

With regard to Big Bangs in particular: My overall response was immediately 'I love them!' But looking back, it wasn't always thus -- I'm really terrible at writing long things, and didn't have the discipline to do so until the past couple years. So I bailed on a lot of them, but not late enough that anyone else was affected. BUT. I have managed to complete a few! Four now, wooo!

My favorite experience with BBs is a tie: I did an RPF big bang that not only got me one of my greatest stories, but incredible art. (Parallel Motion) And the most recent Merlin reverse big bang was amazeballs, because a) the art omg and b) the artist herself was just INCREDIBLE to work with and helped me out a LOT on her own time, despite being busy.
