I personally like sunshine (NC gets a ton of it, even in cold weather), but I can understand the hot/dry/culture stuff. That's so funny you mention the palm trees and grass, that's so true but you don't think about it. I remember thinking it was weird when I heard they weren't native. As to the culture stuff, egads, I shutter to think of getting it right when I ever actually get around to the Urbine!
